Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through arcariogroup.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Who we are

Arcario Group (“we”, “us”) operates this website. We are the controller of the personal information described here. If you have a question about this policy or about how we handle your information, contact us at info@arcariogroup.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and any company, role, and message you provide. When you register for an event we collect your name, work email address, and any company and role you provide, along with whether you opted in to hear about future events. For an in-person event where a meal is served, we also ask whether you have any dietary requirements, so that we can brief the venue.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure processes technical data such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you request. If you consent to analytics, we also collect usage data about how the site is used.

A dietary requirement can reveal something about your health or your beliefs, so we handle it narrowly and deliberately. Answering is optional. What you tell us is shared only with the people hosting the event and the venue preparing the food. It is never added to our customer relationship management system, never used for marketing, and is deleted within 90 days of the event.

Apart from that, we do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive personal information. We do not take payments on this site, so we never handle your payment details.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up on a conversation you started
  • Register you for an event and send you the details, reminders, and any recording
  • Send you invitations to future events and occasional insights, but only if you asked us to
  • Protect our forms from spam and abuse
  • Understand how the site is used so we can improve it, where you allow analytics

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Where data protection law such as the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for analytics and for marketing email; the performance of a contract or steps at your request to register you for an event you asked to attend; and our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and keeping our site secure.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They process personal information on our instructions and for no other purpose.

Service providers that process personal information on our behalf

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, and to a successor if our business is reorganized or acquired.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. In the EEA and the UK, analytics are switched off until you accept them using the banner shown on your first visit. Elsewhere, analytics run by default and you can opt out via the same banner. We do not run advertising cookies or share data with advertising networks.

We also use Google Tag Manager, a container that lets us add tracking and marketing scripts through a central tool rather than a website code change. It currently loads no tags beyond the container script itself. Any tag we add in the future is intended to respect the same consent choices described on this page.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used on our forms to tell people apart from automated traffic. It is a security control, not a tracking tool.

International transfers

Our providers are largely based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside your country. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, and then delete it or stop associating it with you. Inquiries and event registrations are kept while the relationship is active. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our analytics account. If you unsubscribe, we keep the minimum record needed to make sure we do not email you again.

Dietary requirements are an exception and are kept for a much shorter time. Once an event has happened the information has served its purpose, so it is deleted within 90 days of the event rather than kept for the length of the relationship.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email info@arcariogroup.com. We will respond within the time your law requires, and we may need to verify your identity first. Every marketing email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, our forms are rate limited and protected against automated abuse, and access to the systems holding your information is restricted to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the page.
